2010 and 2011 HIA Northern NSW Cabinet Maker/

Kitchen Manufacturer of the Year

In 2010 Creative Design Cabinet Making were judged to be the winners of the HIA Northern NSW Cabinet Maker / Kitchen Manufacturer of the Year. This award recognises the workmanship of cabinet makers and kitchen manufacturers and is judged on the quality of workmanship and installation, the degree of difficulty, demonstrated innovation and harmony with existing construction and a particular focus on customer service and liaison. After winning this regional award Creative Design Cabinet Making went on to be finalists in the NSW Cabinet Maker / Kitchen Manufacturer of the Year. Of the four finalists Creative Design Cabinet Making were the only finalist from outside the Sydney Metropolitan area. This award is a testament to the high quality workmanship of this business which is a leader in this industry.

In August 2011 Creative Design Cabinet Making have again been awarded the HIA Northern NSW Cabinet Maker / Kitchen Manufacturer of the Year, further confirming their commitment to quality.

2011 Macleay Argus Business Awards: Home Based Business

Creative Design Cabinet Making were also recipients of the 2011 Macleay Argus Business Awards Home Based Business of the Year and finalist in the 2011 Macleay Argus Business Awards Industry Business of the Year. This business award is judged by a panel based on a number of business related topics which focuses on the business’s strengths; planning, growth; adaptation to trading conditions; achievements; marketing and customer retention; innovation and new technologies; and investing in the staff and business. To be recognised locally is a great honour.

2011 HIA NSW Business Partner

This award recognises the vital contribution of business partners in small to medium sized family businesses within the building industry. Entrants are family or staff members working in some capacity within the business. Trudi was honoured to receive such recognition as she believes that there are many very deserving business partners across the state. David Bare, HIA’s NSW Executive Director, said “this award recognises commitment to excellence in the housing industry”.
